Bernard Chang is an Asian-American artist/designer, best known for his work in the comic book industry and entertainment design. Some of his most popular works include Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, Superman, Supergirl, Nightwing, Batman Beyond, Green Lantern Corps, Nightwing, X-Men Children of the Atom, Power Man: Timeless, Jean Grey: Flames of Fear, Dead X-Men, and The Game (by Neil Strauss). He also co-created, along with Gene Luen Yang, Monkey Prince for DC Comics, bridging the Journey to the West mythology and the legendary Sun Wukong, into the DC Universe.
Bernard graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and was also captain of the men’s basketball team. Former Assistant Coach of the Miami Heat, Tony Fiorentino, projected Bernard as a late third round pick in the 1995 NBA draft, before his career in art took off.
